Over the last eight years, I have been designing and programming websites. In addition, I have been troubleshooting and repairing private, small-business, and enterprise-level computers for more than a decade. I am uniquely capable of presenting information to both knowledgeable and entry-level users. Moreover, I am adept at combining my creative and analytical talents.

Freelance Web Designer

September 2010 — Present

Worked one-on-one with clients to create original websites, as well as contract work with other designers and developers. Provided appropriate content management options, including Wordpress, Jekyll, and traditional static HTML, depending on the client’s needs. Clients included pastors, authors, and medical offices.

Technical Support Specialist, GlobalMed

September 2011 — Present

Provided first through third tier technical support on all GlobalMed products. Performed software and hardware integration, validation, and verification on existing and new products. Supported website updates and programming. Created a new monitoring system for telestroke clients. Assisted with creating process and procedure documentation for ISO 13485:2003 certification. Created step-by-step documentation for installation, repair, and upgrade procedures.

March 2006 — August 2011

Provided periodic and ad hoc reporting combining data from multiple sources. Maintained and designed several databases using MS Access and VBA. Provided hardware and software support. Designed and maintained a regional website based in Lotus Notes with previously unused methods to build a modern website. Created and hosted training conference calls.
